In case of selling your personal data to another entity, we will inform you in advance, including details of the recipient. Additionally, if someone sells us your personal data, they must notify you beforehand.

Personal Data of Third Parties That You Provide to Us

If you provide us with personal data of third parties, you are obligated to inform the respective person and obtain their consent in accordance with these data protection terms.

  • IP address,
  • Date and time of website access,
  • Information about your internet browser, operating system, or language settings.
We may also process information about your behavior on our websites, such as which links you visit and which products are displayed to you.

Mobile Versions and Mobile Applications

If you access our websites from a phone, tablet, or similar device, we optimize them for these devices. In such cases, we process your personal data in the same way as when accessed from a computer.

Why Do We Collect and Process Your Personal Data?

We process your personal data for the following reasons:

Purchasing Goods and Services

We primarily process your personal data to properly process and deliver your order. If any issues arise, your personal data helps us identify whom to contact.

Customer Support

If you contact us with a question or issue, we need to process your data to respond or resolve it. In some cases, personal data may also be shared with third parties (e.g., a telecom operator or service center).

User Account

Thanks to the personal data you provide in your user profile, you gain access to various useful features (e.g., if you provide your phone number, we can easily notify you when your order is delivered).
You can update your provided information at any time, except for the email address used to access your account.

Marketing Activities

Email Marketing

We send you commercial communications via email with your consent. You can easily unsubscribe by changing your user profile settings or using our contact form.
If you have multiple user profiles with the same contact details (e.g., different email addresses but the same phone number), it may not be possible to automatically unsubscribe from all commercial messages. In such cases, please contact us by phone or through the contact form.
Both our call center representatives and automated systems may contact you.

Marketing Contests

In some cases, a contest winner may be photographed or filmed, primarily to ensure transparency in our marketing contests. We process this data based on our legitimate interest in enhancing the credibility and attractiveness of such contests.
You may object to this processing (see Contact page > Other > Personal Data > Raise an Objection).

Service Improvement

By analyzing your order history and website behavior, we can provide more relevant product recommendations, such as accessories for purchased items. We also display products specifically tailored to your needs and interests.
To optimize our online and offline elements (personalized advertising on third-party sites), we may use tools such as A/B testing, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.

Customer Reviews of Products and Services

After purchasing goods or services from us, you may be asked to provide a review. You can also submit a review voluntarily.

Call Center

If you contact our call center (helpline), we may record your call with prior notification. These recordings help us monitor the quality of our services.

Enforcement of Rights, Legal Claims, and Governmental Audits

We may process your personal data when necessary to enforce our rights and legal claims (e.g., unpaid claims). Additionally, we may process your data to comply with audits by government authorities or other similar critical reasons.

VAT 0% Purchase

To prevent illegal activities, certain documents are required for VAT 0% purchases, including:
  • VAT registration certificate,
  • Certified extract from the relevant registry,
  • If applicable, identification documents of the sole proprietor/manager.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Performance and Conclusion of a Contract

We require a significant portion of your personal data to enter into and fulfill a sales contract or any other agreement related to the goods or services you wish to purchase from us. Once the contract is concluded, we process your personal data to ensure the proper delivery of your purchased goods or the appropriate provision of your acquired services. Based on this legal basis, we primarily process billing and delivery data.

Legitimate Interests

We also use your personal data to provide you with relevant content that interests you. Based on legitimate interests, we primarily process automatically collected personal data and cookies.
For the same legal reason, we may send you emails, SMS messages, push notifications via our mobile application, or call you. Additionally, we may process your personal data for monitoring purposes through surveillance cameras at our individual business locations.
If you are designated as an authorized representative of our corporate client, your orders and further communications will be associated with that corporate client. If you do not wish for this to happen, please use a different email address when placing an order or request to be removed from the list of authorized representatives of the corporate client.
When we process your personal data on this legal basis, you have the right to object to such processing (see the Contact Us page > Other > Personal Data > Objection Submission).

Consent

We process your personal data based on your consent for marketing communications (email marketing) and telemarketing. If you do not provide consent and are our customer, we may still send you commercial messages (or call you for telemarketing purposes) without your explicit consent. In any case, you can easily opt out of receiving such marketing messages by:
(a) Changing your user profile settings,
(b) Using our contact form, or
(c) Following the provided unsubscribe link.
We also request your consent if we need to verify your ability to pay for an item that we reserve for you upon winning an auction.
If you have given us consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw it at any time via our contact form (see Contact Us > Personal Data > Other).

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

Product Delivery

The carrier you select cannot deliver your ordered goods unless we provide them with the necessary delivery details, including your name, surname, delivery address, phone number, and—if payment was not made in advance—the amount due upon receipt. The carrier is authorized to process your personal data solely for delivery purposes and must delete it immediately afterward.

Fulfillment by a Contractual Partner

If you order goods stored at our contractual partner’s warehouse, we must share your personal data with that partner for order fulfillment. This includes your name, delivery address, phone number, and payment details (if applicable). The contractual partner must then transfer your data to the carrier, ensuring successful delivery. Both the contractual partner and carrier are required to use your personal data strictly for fulfillment purposes and delete it immediately afterward.

Payment Cards

Our company does not store your payment card details unless explicitly saved for future purchases. Only the secure payment gateway ________ and relevant banking institutions have access to your payment card details. When paying by card via a computer, the connection to the payment gateway server occurs through an iframe, meaning the gateway page is displayed directly on our website without requiring redirection.
If you have saved your payment card details for faster future transactions, we only store essential details, such as the first and last few digits of the card. You can delete this data at any time through your user profile (Account Settings > Payment Cards > Delete).

Commercial Communications

For marketing emails, SMS messages, or telemarketing calls, we may use third-party providers. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from using your personal data for any other purposes.

Enforcement of Rights and Legal Claims, Government Authorities

If we need to enforce our rights (e.g., if you fail to meet your obligations to Salehub), we may share your personal data with:
(i) Debt collection agencies,
(ii) Companies interested in purchasing Salehub’s receivables from you,
(iii) Companies acquiring such receivables,
(iv) Legal representatives, or
(v) Government authorities if required by law.
If law enforcement or regulatory bodies (e.g., the Slovak Police) request your personal data, we are legally obligated to provide it.

Complaints

To efficiently resolve complaints, a service center may require additional details about the defect or issue. In such cases, we share your provided complaint information (name, address, phone number, email) with the respective service center handling the complaint.

How Long Do We Process Your Personal Data?

We process your data for the entire duration of our contractual relationship.
For data processed with your consent, we generally retain it for 7 years or until you withdraw consent.
If you subscribe to our business newsletters, we process your data for 7 years or until you unsubscribe via your user profile settings or our contact form.
Certain legal obligations require us to retain specific data (e.g., tax documents for at least 10 years).
We process data from your user account for the duration of service usage and generally for 5 years after account cancellation. Only basic identification data and cancellation reasons are retained beyond this period.

Cookies

Cookies reflecting user behavior are deleted after 30 days, while older data remains anonymously available in Google Analytics.

Call Recordings

Call center recordings are stored for a limited time, typically no longer than 1 year, unless extended due to legitimate interests (e.g., fraud investigation).

Security Camera Recordings

Standard retention is 90 days. However, in cases of unlawful activities, recordings may be handed over to authorities and retained until legal proceedings conclude.

Personal Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access and misuse of your personal data. We conduct regular security audits and continuously improve our protective measures.
All data exchange between your device and our web servers is encrypted. Login credentials are hashed, and all data is stored on secure servers in restricted-access data centers.
We adhere to the BCRYPT hashing function with a work factor of 12 for password security—one of the most secure methods available.

Personal Data of Individuals Under 16 Years Old

Our e-commerce platform is not intended for children under 16 years old. A minor may use our store only with parental or guardian consent.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Request correction or completion of your personal data.
  • Restrict processing or object to processing.
  • Access your personal data and request its transfer.
  • Be notified of data security breaches.
  • Request deletion of personal data (“right to be forgotten”) under certain conditions.
You can manage your data through your user account (Account Settings > My Account) or contact us via our contact form.

Filing a Complaint

If you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (as the main supervisory body for Alza Group). However, we encourage you to resolve any issues directly with us first via our contact form.

Effective Date

These Personal Data Protection Terms are effective from March 10, 2025, and are available electronically at salehub2b.eu.
